Baseball Recap: Sevier County Takes a Loss

Sevier County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to the Jefferson County Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 last Monday.

Sevier County's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Jefferson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Sevier County will take on Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson County, they will welcome David Crockett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
