Luxemburg-Casco won the last time they faced Appleton East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Despite the defeat, Appleton East saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addison Kiekhaefer had seven assists and six digs.

Luxemburg-Casco's win bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Appleton East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Coincidentally, Luxemburg-Casco and Appleton East will both be playing Manitowoc Lincoln the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Ships at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
