Volleyball Recap: Wheeler Takes a Loss

Wheeler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Etowah Eagles. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Wheeler was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Etowah's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-15.

Wheeler's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Etowah, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will take on Kell at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Etowah, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Norcross at 5:30 p.m.
