Softball Recap: Western Hills Comes Up Short

Western Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery County Indians. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Indians when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Montgomery County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Montgomery County beat Western Hills by a score of 7-3 later that day.
