There's no place like home for Fernandina Beach, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the KIPP Bold City Greyhounds on Thursday as the Fernandina Beach Pirates made off with a 48-23 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 25 points or more this season.

Several Greyhounds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jameriah Jackson, who posted eight points. The dominant performance gave Jackson a new career-high in points. Quinae Bostic was another key player, putting up eight points.

Fernandina Beach now has a winning record of 5-4. As for KIPP Bold City, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Fernandina Beach will be playing at home against Sandalwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for KIPP Bold City, they will venture away from home to face off against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
