Baseball Recap: Stony Point Comes Up Short

Stony Point lost against McNeil last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Stony Point fell just short of McNeil by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stony Point's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for McNeil, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stony Point will venture away from home to take on Cedar Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Ridge's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Stony Point's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for McNeil, they will head out on the road to square off against Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
