Basketball Recap: Sean Tyler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tandem Friends over Wakefield School

After flying high against Fredericksburg Academy last Wednesday, Tandem Friends came back down to earth. The Tandem Friends Badgers fell 71-62 to the Wakefield School Fighting Owls on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (55), the Badgers still had to take the loss.

Several Badgers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sean Tyler, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sincere Fordham, who had 17 points.

Tandem Friends now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Wakefield School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Tandem Friends has already played their next match (against The Covenant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wakefield School has already played their next contest, a 40-32 win against George C. Marshall on the 24th.
