Baseball Recap: Algonquin Regional Triumphs

Algonquin Regional proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Franklin Panthers 7-5.

Nicholas Klein was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Algonquin Regional's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Algonquin Regional will square off against St. Paul at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Franklin Panthers face off against Oliver Ames Tigers at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
