Sterling entered their tilt with Paul VI on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The Silver Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sterling was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11.

Will Stubbs - Class Of 2026 paced Sterling's offense, picking up nine kills. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 got some help from Davis Holloway and his 17 assists.

Sterling's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. As for Paul VI, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-10 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sterling beat the Eagles by a score of 2-1 later that day.
