Murray Posts Huge Game in 63-20 Victory

Starting off the list is Bellville's Dd Murray, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Murray rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards.

La Grange's probably not too fond of Murray given he always seems to get the better of them. When Murray last faced the Leopards back in August of 2023, he rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

Tristan Whaley Turns in Season-Best Performance

Madisonville was led to victory by Tristan Whaley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Whaley picked up 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards.

Madisonville now has a winning record of 4-3. Whaley and Madisonville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bellville at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Ty Williams Makes It Two for Madisonville

Another Madisonville player making an appearance on this list is Ty Williams. He threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing.

Caldwell's probably not too fond of Williams given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Williams saw the Hornets), he threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also rushed for 43 yards.

D'Ante Keys produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bellville to the win on Friday. Keys wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks, making 18 total tackles, and defending a pass. The game was his seventh straight with five or more total tackles. Bellville is 3-1 when Keys posts two or more sacks, but 1-2 otherwise.

On the year, Keys has averaged 9.1 total tackles per game and for the season has 5.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 2.14 total tackles per game.
