After a string of four wins, Fleming County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Jackson County Generals by a score of 2-1.

Tyler Dells spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Fleming County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Bannister, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Fleming County's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Jackson County, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.
