 After a string of seven wins, Estero's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell victim to a  rough 10-2 loss at the hands of the Gulf Coast Sharks. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Estero in their matchups with Gulf Coast: they've now lost six in a row.
  Case Bowman was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Bowman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Bowman was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Gulf Coast's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Peyton Hale, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Evan Hermanson was another key contributor,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and a  triple.
 Estero's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 16-4. As for Gulf Coast, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season.
 Estero will head out on the road to  face off against  North Fort Myers at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (North Fort Myers: 3.1, Estero: 2.2) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Gulf Coast, they will be playing at home against Riverdale at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Gulf Coast will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
