Baseball Game Preview: Brodhead/Juda Cardinals vs. Edgerton Crimson Tide

For the second straight game, Brodhead/Juda will face off against Edgerton. The Cardinals will face off against the Crimson Tide at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Brodhead/Juda has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Brodhead/Juda will head out to face Edgerton after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Crimson Tide by a score of 11-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cardinals have suffered since May 23, 2024.

Brodhead/Juda got a massive performance out of Gabe Bockhop, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Bockhop has launched this season. Another player making a difference was David Masloske, who went 3-for-4 with four runs and one RBI.

The win (which was Edgerton's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.75 runs across that stretch. As for Brodhead/Juda, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
