Recap: Paxton Bobcats vs. West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors

The Paxton Bobcats can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. Everything went their way against West Florida Baptist Academy as Paxton made off with a 58-37 victory. The win was nothing new for Paxton as they're now sitting on four straight.

Paxton can attribute much of their success to Noah Morgan, who scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morgan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Collin Stewart, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

West Florida Baptist Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kaleb Wiggins and Shepard Brown. Wiggins scored 11 points along with three steals and three blocks, while Brown scored eight points along with five rebounds. Wiggins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played.

West Florida Baptist Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Paxton pulled down 11 offensive rebounds.

Paxton is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paxton and Florala will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Florala focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. West Florida Baptist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pensacola Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th.
