Baseball Recap: Perris' Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rancho Christian, Perris was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the United Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 5-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Perris' win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Lenning, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Adan Perez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Perris' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for United Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Perris has already played their next matchup, an 18-2 defeat against Rowland on the 28th. As for United Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Calvary Baptist on the 28th.
