Softball Game Preview: San Saba Armadillos vs. Shallowater Mustangs

The San Saba Armadillos will square off against the Shallowater Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Saba is coming into the match on a 16-game losing streak dating back to last season.

San Saba came up short against Winters on Monday, falling 30-6.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Shallowater's offense. They fell 3-0 to Sundown on Saturday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

Gracie Banks spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

San Saba's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shallowater, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
