Dawes made her presence known in Copper Hills' 13-2 victory
While Wednesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Bryton Dawes. She was dynamite on Wednesday, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
Dawes and Copper Hills will be playing at home against Weber at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dawes has dominated as far as walks are concerned (she's averaged 1.4 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering Weber has only allowed 3.42 per game this season.
