Basketball Recap: Sandy Valley Comes Up Short

Sandy Valley lost against Indian Valley back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sandy Valley Cardinals took a blow against the Indian Valley Braves, falling 69-27. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Sandy Valley and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Indian Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy Valley and Claymont will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Valley, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Ridgewood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
