Basketball Recap: Brush Beetdiggers vs. Highland Huskies
After flying high against Platte Valley last Friday, Brush came back down to earth. The Brush Beetdiggers took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Huskies on Tuesday. The Beetdiggers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Several Beetdiggers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jocelynn Middlemist, who posted eight points and 12 boards.
