Volleyball Recap: Castle Park Comes Up Short

Castle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Chula Vista Spartans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 26, 2022, but that streak is no more.

While Castle Park ultimately came up short, they really made Chula Vista work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 24-26, 26-24.

Castle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Chula Vista, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 12-25.

As of now, neither Castle Park nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
