Baseball Game Preview: Hollywood Sheiks vs. Roybal Titans

For the second straight game, Hollywood will face off against Roybal. The Sheiks will challenge the Titans at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.

Hollywood will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Roybal, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Sheiks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Titans on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Sheiks have posted since April 10, 2024.

Blake Jenkins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Jenkins was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Jenkins wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Pallette, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Roybal is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 2.5 runs. As for Hollywood, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.
