Jada Burnett-Hatton put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Monday. She struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Crab Orchard's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Anna-Jonesboro at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans haven't beaten the Wildcats recently, having gone 0-3 since April of 2022.
