Football Recap: Cromwell/Portland Skates Past Capital Prep/Achievement First with Ease

Cromwell/Portland strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 42-14 win over the Capital Prep/Achievement First Trailblazers. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.

Leading Cromwell/Portland to victory were Michael Sitaro Jr. and Tyler Cipolla. Sitaro Jr. rushed for 43 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Cipolla gained 125 total yards and three touchdowns. Sitaro Jr. is also crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Cromwell/Portland, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cipolla, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Cromwell/Portland's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Capital Prep/Achievement First, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
