Soccer Recap: Piedmont Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Piedmont rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Orland Trojans 1-0. The Highlanders wouldn't have won without Bosco Lorin, who scored the game-winner.

Piedmont has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Orland's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Piedmont will face off against Colusa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
