Baseball Recap: University of Detroit Jesuit Comes Up Short

University of Detroit Jesuit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 10-5 to the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eaglets this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-0 defeat last Wednesday.

James Schilp made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Leo Sproule was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

University of Detroit Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for St. Mary's Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: University of Detroit Jesuit beat the Eaglets by a score of 3-0 later that day.
