Parker scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 67-40 defeat at the hands of the Ramsay Rams. While losing is never fun, the Thundering Herd can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Rams are ranked 41st).

Despite the loss, Parker still got an impressive performance from Teralyn Hill, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. That was a full 37.5% of Parker's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Takiyah Binder was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Parker dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Ramsay, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

Parker will take on Jackson-Olin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ramsay, they will square off against Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
