Basketball Recap: Westwood Christian Piles Up the Points Against Miami Christian

Westwood Christian extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Miami Christian. They breezed past the Miami Christian Victors to the tune of 68-37. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Westwood Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devin Mcintyre, who went 6-for-13 en route to 19 points. Mcintyre has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jason Martinez, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points and seven boards.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Westwood Christian, bringing their record for this year to 16-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.8 points. As for Miami Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Coming up, Westwood Christian will challenge Atlantic Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Atlantic Christian will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Westwood Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Miami Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
