Volleyball Recap: West Cabarrus Wins Going Away Against Harding University + How To Watch

West Cabarrus's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Harding University Rams with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Cabarrus took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-6, 25-8.

Ellie Nicely was nothing short of spectacular: she had ten aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted since September 2nd. Riley Tesh was another key player, getting four digs and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: West Cabarrus was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.

West Cabarrus is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Harding University, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
