Softball Game Preview: Euclid Panthers vs. Shaker Heights Red Raiders

The Euclid Panthers will face off against the Shaker Heights Red Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Euclid duked it out with Mentor on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 6-0 to the Cardinals. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Shaker Heights strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 26-5 margin over Rhodes. Fans of the Red Raiders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Emerson Miller was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Emilia Chevraux was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Shaker Heights' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Euclid, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
