Recap: A&M Consolidated Tigers vs. Rudder Rangers
The A&M Consolidated Tigers waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They blew past Rudder 71-48. That's another feather in the cap for A&M Consolidated, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Campbell, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaquise Martin, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
A&M Consolidated has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Rudder, they now have a losing record at 14-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A&M Consolidated will take on the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully the Tigers likes a good challenge. As for Rudder, they will be playing at home against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. College Station is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
