It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Milford Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Morris Central Mustangs 11-10. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Milford Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Gannon, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Milford Central now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Morris Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Milford Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Windham-Ashland-Jewett at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Morris Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
