Soccer Game Preview: Anderson vs. Fishers

Anderson is 0-3 against Fishers since October of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Indians will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Anderson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Anderson's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Alexandria-Monroe as they made off with a 6-0 victory. Anderson might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Fishers rose to the challenge on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bearcats 1-0. The victory continues a trend for Fishers in their matchups with Muncie Central: they've now won four in a row.

Anderson's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Fishers, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-4.

Anderson came up short against Fishers in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
