Volleyball Recap: North Pitt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Pitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Martin County Gators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While North Pitt was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Tori Fraser and Brea Moore, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Abigail Gaskins and her seven assists. Finally, Fraser was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

North Pitt's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Martin County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, North Pitt and Martin County will both be playing Southside the next time they take the court. The Gators will head out to face the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
