Softball Game Preview: Bell Bulldogs vs. Dixie County Bears

The Bell Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Dixie County Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Bell and six for Dixie County.

On Tuesday, Bell came up short against Lafayette and fell 10-7.

Dacy Graham was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Gracelynd Joiner-Solis also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Dixie County also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Fort White by a score of 7-2.

Dixie County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katelyn Blevins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Dixie County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Bell took their victory against Dixie County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3. Will Bell repeat their success, or does Dixie County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
