Volleyball Recap: Salinas Cowboys vs. Los Gatos Wildcats

Salinas lost against Los Gatos back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cowboys fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. While the Cowboys didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 25-21 in the first set.

Salinas started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

Teagan Bell paced Salinas' offense, picking up 11 kills. Bell got some help from Helen Williams and her 14 assists.

Salinas' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Los Gatos, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
