Mica Mountain waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Thunderbolts: when they faced off against the Nighthawks two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Mica Mountain's offense was headlined by Sean Wiltshire and Reagan Howell, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Caleb Cherry and his 18 assists. Wiltshire was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Mica Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Ironwood Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Mica Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Boulder Creek on the 11th. As for Ironwood Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Mountain View on the 11th.
