Football Recap: Fideles Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fideles Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 16-6 to the St. Francis Knights.

Benjamin Medcalf threw for 147 yards and one TD. Caden Riggs was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Eli Pawlish was nothing short of spectacular for St. Francis: he rushed for 200 yards and one score while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. Pawlish was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards.

Fideles Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Francis, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Fideles Christian and Unity Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Francis, they will challenge Victory Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th.
