Dylan Mayers of Saint Andrew's is the Florida High School Football Player of the Week

Senior quarterback led team to 55-54 shootout win over King's Academy.

After receiving over 3,500 votes, Dylan Mayers of Saint Andrew's (Boca Raton) is the MaxPreps Florida High School Football Player of the Week.

Mayers connected on 19 of 30 pass attempts for 374 yards and six touchdowns in a 55-54 victory over King's Academy. The senior quarterback also ran six times for 36 yards.

Here are the rest of this week's candidates:

Stanley Anderson-Lofton, Dr. Phillips (Orlando): Junior quarterback threw for 488 yards and four touchdowns. Also accounted for four rushing touchdowns in a 76-60 loss against Lake Mary.



Mykel Calixte, Dr. Phillips: Junior wide receiver caught 10 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns in 76-60 loss against Lake Mary.

Davion Gause, Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood): Senior running back ran for 176 yards and a pair of long touchdown runs on 17 carries in a signature 35-14 victory against national No. 12 St. Frances Academy.

Noah Grubbs, Lake Mary: Sophomore quarterback threw for 528 yards and eight touchdowns in a 76-60 victory over Dr. Phillips.

Caden Harshbarger, Lake Mary: Senior wide receiver hauled seven passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns in the in the 76-60 victory over Dr. Phillips.

Jason Patterson, Sneads: Senior running back ran for 254 yards and four touchdowns on 12 carries. He also hauled in three passes for 31 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 64-34 win over Cottondale.

Shawn Simeon, Naples: Junior running back ran for 241 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries in a 43-12 victory over Lehigh.



Ennio Yapoor, Norland (Miami): Junior quarterback was 20 of 26 passing for 489 yards and five touchdowns while running for 40 yards and a touchdown in  48-34 win over Lakeland.
