Softball Recap: Sparta Takes a Loss

After flying high against Blue Eye on Thursday, Sparta came back down to earth. The Trojans lost 11-3 to the Forsyth Panthers on Friday. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Sparta's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Forsyth, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Sparta has already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Springfield Catholic on the 11th. As for Forsyth, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Clever on the 12th.
