Basketball Recap: Suffield Wildcats vs. Bolton Bulldogs
The Suffield Wildcats won the last time they faced the Bolton Bulldogs, and things went their way on Thursday too. Suffield took down the Bulldogs 56-39.
Bolton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryan Diehl, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Joshua Wagner, who scored 14 points along with two blocks.
Suffield now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bolton, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Suffield will take on the Rams at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Rockville is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Bolton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Spartans at 6:45 p.m. Somers presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bulldogs in Connecticut (the Spartans are ranked 48th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 174th).
