After losing to Wauneta-Palisade the last time they met, Paxton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers won by a set and slipped past the Broncos 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Paxton who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-23.

Jakcee Mitchell paced Paxton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mitchell got some help from Hadleigh Kramer and her 29 assists. Addison Holm controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Paxton's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Paxton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Wallace on the 25th. As for Wauneta-Palisade, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Ravenna on the 27th.
