            Baseball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs vs. Willow Spring Storm        
        
		
        
        
            Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  16-5 to the Willow Spring Storm. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by  exactly 11  runs.

Scott  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances, while  Dove  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Dove is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played.
Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Willow Spring, the  victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
 Coming up, Southeast Raleigh will head out on the road to  square off against  Smithfield-Selma  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Southeast Raleigh is facing Smithfield-Selma at the right time seeing as Smithfield-Selma is stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak. As for Willow Spring, they will welcome South Garner  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. South Garner has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.86  runs per game on average), something Willow Spring will no doubt try to take advantage of.
