Baseball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

If Lincoln County was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Wayne on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Nitro Wildcats by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered since May 1, 2024.

Lincoln County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Adkins, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Garrett Adkins was another, going 2-for-3 with one run.
