After a string of three wins, the Empowering Others Prep Kings's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 64-45 fall against Texas Lions HomeSchool.

Texas Lions HomeSchool was led to victory by Legend Durst and Bryant Herring. Durst scored 22 points along with eight rebounds, while Herring dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel De oliveira, who scored six points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

Empowering Others Prep's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Texas Lions HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.
