Basketball Recap: Knox County Takes a Loss

Knox County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Schuyler County Rams and fell 73-32. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 534th, while the Rams are ranked 266th).

Knox County's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Schuyler County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8.

Knox County will face off against Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Marion County will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Knox County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Schuyler County, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
