Basketball Recap: Culver Community Comes Up Short

Culver Community lost against Knox back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Culver Community Cavaliers lost 48-28 to the Knox Redskins. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cavaliers have suffered against the Redskins since December 8, 2018.

Despite the loss, Culver Community still got an impressive performance from Caleb McCuen, who posted nine points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Knox to victory, but perhaps none more so than Myles Mclaughlin, who to rack up 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Fletcher, who scored 13 points.

Culver Community's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Knox, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-17.

Coming up, Culver Community will face off against Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Knox, they will square off against Triton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
