Softball Recap: Dow Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

Dow's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Dow's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average this season. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
