Basketball Recap: Math Science & Engineering Comes Up Short

Math Science & Engineering came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 65-38 loss at the hands of the Douglass Academy Lions. Math Science & Engineering has struggled against Douglass Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Math Science & Engineering's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Douglass Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Math Science & Engineering will head out to square off against East Harlem at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Douglass Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Adams Street Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
