Soccer Recap: Dixie Takes a Loss

Dixie lost against Crimson Cliffs back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flyers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Dixie can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Crimson Cliffs are ranked tenth).

Dixie has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Crimson Cliffs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dixie is set to take on their familiar foe Desert Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crimson Cliffs will face off against rival Pine View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
