Incline won the last time they faced West Wendover and Lucas MacDonald did his part to make sure it happened again. The Highlanders took down the Wolverines 31-14 on Friday thanks in part to MacDonald, who rushed for 122 yards and two TDs on only six carries, and also threw for 257 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt. His passing game has become a key predictor of Incline's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Incline's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for West Wendover, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Incline will venture away from home to face off against Yerington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Highlanders will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Wendover, they are taking a road trip to square off against Coral Academy of Science - Reno at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
